How to prevent ice dams and protect your gutters

Ice dams are caused by air from the house warming the underside of a snow-covered roof in freezing weather. When this happens, over time, condensation builds and softens the wood leading to rot and mold. In addition, very often the gutters start to sag oral low wate to seep behind which promotes moisture in crawl spaces and basements. When this happens in the winter we often see icicles hanging from the gutters. This is evidence that air leakage is occurring in the attic. All Seasons Quality Renovations is able to diagnose and pinpoint the exact areas of warm air leakage from the home using a thermal camera. We are then able to properly remedy the issue(s) and allow you to extend the life of your gutter system and increase your air quality and safety for years to come.
